What is your idea of a perfectly designed space?

A space that feels warm, inviting, and inspiring, but mostly is a true reflection of the homeowner.

What is your greatest extravagance when designing a project?

Luscious fabrics!

What do you consider the most overrated design trend or rule?

The idea that everything needs to 'match' in a particular room or home. I'm a fan of letting things feel a little eclectic and collected.

The last few years have been quite interesting in how our business has changed. What do you consider your greatest achievement in managing all this?

I'm proud that I have been able to start scaling my business and expanding my team to take on more clients across a range of projects.

If you were to die and come back as an object or space, what would it be?

A fabulous statement light fixture. Lighting can really make-or-break the feel of a space!

What is your most treasured space or possession in your home?

My and my husband's art collection. We have a wonderful mix of heirlooms, pieces from our travels or friends and family, and I love that we can keep adding to it.

What is your motto?

You can always change your mind.

What is your current state of mind?

With the new year, I'm feeling refreshed and inspired - there are some exciting projects my team and I are diving into.

What do you value most in your clients?

A willingness to new ideas. Part of my job is to help guide decision-making and push people out of their comfort zones - embrace it!

Who are your favorite artist, architect and designer?

Beata Heuman's design work is among my favorite these days. I so admire the whimsy infused in her spaces while still retaining a sense of sophistication.
