Sophie Girard Design is a full-service design studio specializing in residential interiors. Our focus is to make interiors places of inspiration and beauty, while enhancing the life that goes on within them.
Our design goal is to achieve serene interiors with timeless appeal, working closely with our clients to take into account their aspirations as well as each project unique context. With more than 10 years of experience, we have the ability to support our clients from the earliest planning stages to the final reveal. We partner with local architects, contractors and workrooms to create natural, functional and relaxed interiors.
Principal and Founder Sophie was born in Paris, France and brings her European sensibility to each project. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. She was the recipient of a Angelo Donghia scholarship award and participated in a Study abroad design program in Scandinavia. She also earned her Certification with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). She has worked for various interior designers and architects in New York City before founding her own design studio in 2012. Sophie currently lives in Quogue with her husband and two children.
